Ferdi in Scheltema's shop display

One of the largest bookstores in Holland, Scheltema based in Amsterdam, appointed their shop display to the exhibition 'Freedom' that opened at museum de Fundatie in Zwolle. The exhibition shows fifty Dutch key works curated by art-critic Hans den Hartog Jager. The exhibition starts off with the work 'Clementine's Dream' made by Ferdi in 1968. In 2018 the Shinkichi Tajiri Estate made the publication: Ferdi Hortisculpture. Event: Kasteel Scheres - Kastelendag op 22-04-2019

Voor de viering 800 jaar Baarlo en de Kastelendag zal de Shinkichi Tajiri Estate een film tonen die Shinkichi Tajiri in 1955 in Parijs gemaakt heeft over zijn tweede vrouw, de beeldhouwster Ferdi (1927-1969) en haar werk. In samenwerking met Eye Filmmuseum presenteert de Estate: FERDI (1955, zw/w 10.40 min), een digitale versie van de 16mm film. Deze zal begeleid worden door een nieuw gecomponeerd muziekstuk van Martijn Alsters en Willem Tanke.
